SPRING COLLECTION - OLD GOLD
You are purchasing one skein of our Old Gold colourway from the Spring Collection on one of the following bases:
Merino Singles - 100% Superwash Merino. Meterage is 366m / weight 100g. This base is our single ply, roving style yarn. Perfect for shawls and other delicate garments.
Lola 4 Ply Sock - 75% Australian Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon. Meterage is 400m / weight 100g. Beautifully soft, yet strong sock yarn with a subtle sheen. Perfect for socks, shawls and garments.
BFL DK - 100% Superwash British Bluefaced Leicester (BFL). Meterage is 225m / weight 100g. This base is soft but also very resilient due to the longer staple length of the BFL fibre. It has a creamier undertone than merino based yarns and although superwash treated, still has an 'earthy' feel. The yarn has a high twist which creates great stitch definition. Perfect for garments, shawls, thicker socks & other accessories.
Barrington Merino Silk Lace - 80% Extra Fine Merino, 20% Silk. Meterage is 600m / weight 100g. A super soft yarn which feels like a cloud and drapes well. The yarn has a subtle glow due to the silk content. Perfect for shawls, light weight garments and other special accessories.
Mohair Silk Lace - 72% Kid Mohair, 28% Mulberry Silk. Meterage is 420m / weight 50g. This yarn lends delicate halo to projects whilst also adding incredible warmth. It is perfect for holding double or being used in conjunction with other yarns to create a special effect. Perfect for garments, shawls and other accessories.

Hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes and heat set to ensure colours that will last.
Please ensure you buy enough yarn for your project at the same time, as colours between dye batches can vary. Even within the same dye batch skeins will vary - that is the beauty and nature of hand dyed yarn - every skein is unique and individual.
Every effort has been made to remove any excess dye from the yarn, however a little may remain, particularly with dark and rich colours. It is therefore recommended to gently hand wash your hand dyed projects on their own, in cold water, with wool wash or a mild detergent.
