    BFL NYLON FINGERING

80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL), 20% Nylon.

    Main skein meterage is 365m / weight 100g & mini skeins 73m / 20g each.

This base is soft but also very strong, due to the longer staple length of BFL.

It is a high twist yarn which provides for great stitch definition.

Perfect for socks, garments, shawls & other accessories.

    HOPE & SUNSHINE SOCKS

The 'Hope & Sunshine Sock' pattern by Tracie Millar is available for purchase on Ravelry here.

This gorgeous sock was originally designed in our Hope & Sunshine Sock Set as part of the breast cancer fundraiser and features a sporty & elegant design which is fun and simple to knit.

Worked from the top down, they start with a striped 1x1 ribbed cuff in the contrast colours, followed by a simple cabled pattern on the leg and foot in the main colour.

The simple cross cables are designed to reflect the breast cancer ribbon emblem shape and also the support and care we wish for everyone going through breast cancer.

A heel flap & gusset construction ensures a good fit, together with a rounded toe, knit in the contrast colours for a further pop of 'sunshine'.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions and has been both tech edited and test knitted.

Hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes and heat set to ensure colours that will last.

Please ensure you buy enough yarn for your project at the same time, as colours between dye batches can vary.  Even within the same dye batch skeins will vary - that is the beauty and nature of hand dyed yarn - every skein is unique and individual.

Every effort has been made to remove any excess dye from the yarn, however a little may remain, particularly with dark and rich colours.  It is therefore recommended to gently hand wash your hand dyed projects on their own, in cold water, with wool wash or a mild detergent.
