Merino Possum Fingering - Neptune

'Neptune' is a bright teal-blue semi-solid colourway.

MERINO POSSUM FINGERING

80% Merino / 20% Possum Fur. 

Meterage is 425m / weight 100g.

This is a pre-order listing, with yarns to be dyed and shipped by late February 2023.

This base is a woollen spun, non superwash yarn, which is super soft, light & airy. 

The possum fibre adds light brown undertone to the yarn, as well as a beautiful halo and warmth due to its excellent insulation properties. 

It can be knit at a range of gauges, including patterns from fingering weight up to a Light DK weight.

Perfect for lighter weight garments and accessories.

The listed price is for one skein.

Hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes and heat set to ensure colours that will last.

Please ensure you buy enough yarn for your project at the same time, as colours between dye batches can vary.  Even within the same dye batch skeins will vary - that is the beauty and nature of hand dyed yarn - every skein is unique and individual.

Every effort has been made to remove any excess dye from the yarn, however a little may remain, particularly with dark and rich colours.  It is therefore recommended to gently hand wash your hand dyed projects on their own, in cold water, with wool wash or a mild detergent.
