It's hard to believe we're already into the second month of the year.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for #loveloKAL #loveloCAL during January in either our Ravelry group or on @louielolayarns and @fibremates Instagram.
#loveloKAL #loveloCAL is our year-long make-along where we will be celebrating our down-under designers, yarn producers, dyers and local yarn shops during 2025.
During February we’ll be celebrating one of our national knitting treasures as part of our #loveloKAL #loveloCAL make-along, with our bonus theme for the month being ‘Celebrating Ambah O’Brien’.
If you choose to knit a design from Ambah’s extensive design catalogue you’ll be eligible for an additional bonus entry into the monthly prize draw for February.
If your project follows our February 2025 bonus theme of ‘Celebrating Ambah O’Brien’ by using an Ambah O’Brien Design, you’ll also be eligible to post it a second time for a bonus entry.

The Bendigo Project is a passion project of some of our favourite Aussie designers, which has become an annual event featuring an online make-along, which begins in March and ends with a meet up at Australian Sheep and Wool Show in July.
