We have been excited to collaborate with Thread & Maple and knitwear designer Tracie Millar of the Grocery Girls on the creation of something extra special for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.
Following the success of our June breast cancer fundraiser, where together with Thread & Maple we raised over $11K for breast cancer research, we have designed a brand new limited edition 'Pink Ribbon' bundle.
The bundle includes a special rose pink coloured Thread & Maple Pochette (their latest project/clutch bag) embossed with a Pink Ribbon emblem, a digital copy of Tracie Millar's new 'Autumn Stripes' cowl pattern and a Louie & Lola Merino Fingering Yarn Set.
Tracie has designed the beautiful 'Autumn Stripes' cowl pattern especially for this fundraiser in three of our Merino Fingering colourways, Guava, Goldfinch and Champagne.
'Autumn Stripes' features seven unique stitch patterns to keep things fun and fresh, so you'll be switching between a little bit of lace, cables, stripes, purl texture and mosaic knitting!
The Louie & Lola 'Autumn Stripes' Yarn Bundle includes 1 x 100gm skein of Guava, 1 x 50gm skein of Champagne & 1 x 50gm skein of Goldfinch on our Merino Fingering base.
The Thread & Maple Pochette is a petite elegant bag designed to fit a 1-2 skein project, with an inner zip pocket and compartments that perfectly fit an On The Go and leather tape measure. They are meticulously handcrafted from genuine quality leather which is velvety soft to the touch.
The pochettes have a magnetic snap closure, for snag free knitting. You can even keep your tapestry needles handy by sticking them to the little “x” on the inner lip. Each comes with a matching wrist strap and tassel.
