We love a good Westknits MKAL, it's one of the highlights of our knitting year.
And would you believe that the 2021 Shawlography MKAL is Stephen's 12th MKAL?
You can now purchase the MKAL pattern on Ravelry or Gumroad.com/Westknits.
There will be lots of fun chat in the Ravelry group, on Instagram, and Stephen will be hosting Instagram Live events throughout the MKAL.
The MKAL will kick off with a virtual cast on party upon the release of Clue 1 on Friday, 8 October. There will be three more pattern clues, released on 15 October, 22 October and 29 October.
We have put together eight different Louie & Lola Shawlography Yarn Kits, which will each include a total of five (5) x 100gm skeins.
All kits will be dyed to order and will ship within two weeks.
You will have a choice of (3) of our fingering weight yarn bases:
BFL Nylon Fingering
Merino Nylon Sock
Merino Singles
Please note the photo of this kit shows the yarns dyed on our BFL Nylon Fingering yarn base and that colourways do dye up slightly differently on each yarn base due to the different fibre composition and yarn structure.
Here's a preview of our kits:

Understanding the difference is like knowing the secret personality of your yarn—and it’s the key to matching the right base to your dream project. Let's break it down together!
