Advent season is just around to corner, and so is the beginning of the MKAL for the Tarkine Wrap!
This mystery knitalong which we are co-hosting with by Susanna Kaartinen of Sanna & Co.
Whilst Susanna designed this pattern for the Louie & Lola Yarns 2025 ’A 12 Days of Aussie Christmas’ advent, which includes 12 x 50g / 200m of 4ply / fingering weight yarn, this mystery knitalong is open to everyone.
Though we recommend keeping the yarn weight the same, Susanna has included instructions on how to knit this wrap using less colours, or with a main colour and 12 x 20g minis. So there will be plenty of opportunities to use up your stash yarns or yarns from another advent.
The knitalong will be held in a Facebook group and the Tarkine Wrap MKAL pattern is now available for purchase on Ravelry here (at a special early bird 20% discount until December 1).
The pattern will be revealed in 12 parts, with the first clue revealed on December 2, and a new clue being revealed every 2nd day thereafter, until the final clue & full pattern is revealed on December 24.
The MKAL will run until end of February 2026, to give you plenty of time to finish.
