This year she has dyed up two limited edition colourways, one deeply saturated in amazingly vibrant colours and the other a speckled number reflecting the colours of the project bag.

The special project bag is sewn with fabric purchased from the Aboriginal Fabric Gallery in the design 'Women's Body Dreaming' blue.  This fabric is gorgeous and needed to be used for a special cause.

Skein Sisters

I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman...
lyrics by songwriters Helen Reddy & Ray Burton released 1972

Skein Sisters has created an exclusive limited edition colourway which pays tribute to female empowerment and the strong, amazing women in our lives, whatever they're going through.

Their lovely dyer Julia has created this amazing colour - Invincible - as our special, limited-edition skein for Breast Cancer Awareness month 2025 and KFTG 2025.

Each skein of Invincible is a glowing, variegated delight of warm pink woven with delicious coral and gold.  Julia takes care to design variegated colourways using her own specially developed colour application technique - so colours transform and blend beautifully in the finished fabric without pooling.

She'll be dyeing batches of these special skeins throughout October with 35% of sales from every skein going to support breast cancer research and the work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

This stunning colour Invincible is on preorder with the very latest shipping date 28/10/2025, but yarn will ship throughout October as it's dyed.

Invincible is available from Skein Sisters here.
