So many of our fabulous Knit for the Girls sponsors have their own special events happening this week in support of the fundraiser, that we thought they deserved a blog post all of it's own.
Here's just a snippet of the pink boobie yarnie fun to be found between 5-12 October.

Introducing Flutterby, the newest Daffodil Road Yarn club colorway to flutter its way into your stash this month!
Soft shades of pink, inspired by delicate wings dancing in the breeze. This one is perfect for those cozy autumn knits that need a touch of whimsical charm!
Limited spare skeins available, so grab yours before they fly away!
Sara will be donating $10 from each spare skein to the Knit For The Girls fundraiser!

Marie from Obsession Yarns has created a little set of stitch markers and some earrings from beautiful rose quartz.
All profits from sales of these items will go toward the fundraiser, and Marie will personally match the final amount!

Treat yourself or someone special to a Circus Tonic Handmade Pottery Mug Finest Box!
Hannah has curated this box with beautiful things we would love for a quiet crafternoon. She will also donate $5 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation from the sale of each box.
These Finest Boxes contain a beautiful hand made custom boobs mug by Andrina Wright of AW Pottery, a matching set of 200g Pageant DK in either blues or pinks and a beautiful Thurlby Herb Farm Bug Buster Drawer Sachet in the Gum Blossom scent.
These mugs are works of art; with carefully detailed perfectly imperfect boobs in a neutral glaze, which will contain approx 240ml.
You'll want to be quick to snag one of these glorious boxes (we may have already treated ourselves!!)

Crystal Cat Stitchery has some incredible strawberry shortcake bags available for pre-order for Knit for the Girls!
They'll be available between 5th-12th October in their large classic drawstring bag style for $85, with $15 being donated from every bag sold to the fundraiser.
They really are absolutely stunning IRL!

Our friend Sarah from Bombed Yarns in Hobart has designed a 'Knit for the Girls' exclusive colourway 'Check Your Breast!' Simply...how good is it???!
The colourway will be available only for the week of 5th - 12th October, with 15% of all sales of the colourway being donated to the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation.
'Check Your Breast!' pairs beautifully with existing Bombed Yarns colourways 'Resistance is Futile', 'Smoked', 'Kiss My Magnolia' and 'Pinot On The Carpet' and will be available on Upcycled 4ply (100% SW Merino yarn, recycled to prevent waste), Upcycled Sock (75% SW Merino / 25% Nylon yarn, recycled to prevent waste) and Fluffy (37% Pima Cotton / 35% Baby Alpaca / 25% Merino Fingering yarn).
All yarns will be dyed and shipped within a fortnight of this event finishing.

In the case of Susanna Kaartinen, the answer is that she found inspiration in the vast, rugged and beautiful landscapes and wilderness of our island state.
And within weeks, concepts for a Sanna & Co. Tasmanian inspired knitwear pattern collection was born.

Understanding the difference is like knowing the secret personality of your yarn—and it’s the key to matching the right base to your dream project. Let's break it down together!

The Bendigo Project is a passion project of some of our favourite Aussie designers, which has become an annual event featuring an online make-along, which begins in March and ends with a meet up at Australian Sheep and Wool Show in July.
