A huge thank you to everyone who purchased tickets as part of our Bushfire Fundraiser for the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund in early January.
Together we raised a total of $2,156 for the Red Cross in just over 24 hours!
You can check out our page on the Australian Red Cross Fundraiser site here, which is also still open for donations.
The Australian Red Cross are continuing to provide valuable support to those affected by the recent bushfire crisis, offering practical, financial and emotional assistance for those most affected, as they start the process of rebuilding their homes and communities.
The amazing support and generosity of knitters crafters around the world following our fires has been nothing short of heart-warming, both in terms of donations and practical assistance.
Whilst the Animal Rescue Craft Guild is currently closed for stocktake due to the overwhelming number of donated items (as at 28 January), the Facebook page continues to provide current information on craft items still required, which currently includes blankets and L to XXL Joey Pouches. Full pattern details can be found on their page.
Congratulations also to our fundraiser winner, Cath (aka thepommyknitter) on winning the bundle of 15 x Louie & Lola Yarns, which were valued at $394.
