We were honoured to be named a finalist once again this year, together with the talented Marie of Obsession Yarns and Aleisha and Jarrad of Great Southern Yarn.
We know this recognition has a lot to do with our annual Knit for the Girls breast cancer fundraiser, which is only possible due to the incredible support of the entire community.
To everyone who donates to and sponsors the fundraiser each year - including all the incredibly generous yarn dyers, LYS, yarn producers and designers here in Australia - your ongoing support of this important cause is truly humbling and this recognition is about the fact that TOGETHER we have raised over $188K for life saving research through the @nbcfaus in five years, which honestly blows my mind.
Thank you to all our customers, suppliers, colleagues and collaborators - we honestly feel so lucky to get to do what we love for a living and to support our family through it. Yes, it's hard work, but when it's your passion, it makes it all so worthwhile.
