Our Instant Crush Yarn Kits include the yarn needed to create Joji Locatelli's latest sweater design.
Kits will be dyed-to-order and will ship within approximately 14 days.
The Sweet Orange Kit comprises: Colour 1: Sweet Orange (Main colour), Colour 2: Marmalade, Colour 3: Antique & Colour 4: Peony.

Instant Crush is a seamless, top-down, colorwork pullover worked using only 2 strands of silk/mohair yarn throughout the entire project.
Even though it is a colorwork project and the fabric warm & thick (equivalent to a DK/8ply weight), this sweater is light as air due to the choice of fibres used in the design.
The colorwork motifs are fully charted for all sizes.
SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).
Recommended to be worn with no ease or with a little bit of negative ease.
Pictured in Size 3 on a 36” 90 cm bust.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length from underarm to hem: 14” 34.5 cm or desired length.
NEEDLES
4 mm and 3 mm circular needles.
Other notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or waste yarn), tapestry needle.
GAUGE
19 st and 25 rows to 4” 10 cm in Colorwork pattern (Stockinette st) on 4 mm needles.
This project is worked using 2 strands of laceweight mohair/silk held together throughout.

It is important you swatch and achieve the pattern gauge, as this will affect yarn usage. Likewise, any pattern modifications such as additional body or sleeve length will affect yarn usage. MOHAIR SILK LACE
Weight: Lace Weight / 2 ply
Fibre: 72% Kid Mohair / 28% Mulberry Silk
Meterage: 420m / weight 50gm
Characteristics: Adds a delicate halo to projects whilst also adding incredible warmth.
Use: Perfect for holding double or being used in conjunction with other yarns to create a special effect.
Care: Gentle hand wash and dry flat in shade as this is a non-superwash yarn.
Hand-dyed in small batches in Tasmania.
The beauty and nature of hand dyed yarn is that every skein is unique and individual. Even within the same dye batch variations between skeins can occur.
We therefore recommend alternating skeins within your projects to ensure an optimal finish and colour blending.
Please also ensure you buy enough yarn for your project at the time of purchase, as colours can vary between dye batches.
Our yarns come twisted in a skein and will need to be wound into a cake before knitting. You can do that yourself or have it done by us using our Cake Your Yarn service.
Hand wash only as this kit features non-superwash yarn.
Our hand dyed yarns have been washed to remove excess dye, however some residual dye may remain, particularly in dark and saturated colourways.
It is recommended to gently hand wash your hand dyed projects in cold water.
Wool wash or a mild detergent may be used.
We recommend blocking and drying garments flat and not tumble drying.

A local pick up option is also available from our Dye Studio Shop in Claude Road, Tasmania.
Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
All orders are sent with tracking using Australia Post. We offer both Parcel Post and Express Post options.
