55% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) + 45% Grade A Mulberry Silk | 600 metres per 100g skein | 20 sts & 32 rows using 2.00mm - 3.00mm needles.

The pairing of Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) with silk is second to none. BFL has sheen and long staple length, making it a natural partner to silk.

This yarn is a little thicker than standard lace yarns, which makes it great for beginner lace knitters.

It takes up dyes beautifully, creating vibrant colours.

Perfect for garments and shawls – it has a beautiful, bouncy texture, and keeps its shape well especially when knitted in lace stitches.
