Knit for the Girls with Us in 2025

Welcome friends! 

We’re excited to invite you to take part in the 2025 Knit for the Girls (KFTG) fundraiser, happening 23-30 October 2025, now in its fifth year! 🎉

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised $237,000 AUD / $212,000 CAD for breast cancer research in Australia and Canada over the last four years - funding life-saving research in Australia through the National Breast Cancer Foundation ($120,000 AUD) and supporting groundbreaking efforts in the US and Canada ($105,000 CAD) by Breast Cancer Canada & North American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Breast cancer has touched nearly all of us—whether personally or through someone we love. Through this fundraiser, our fibre arts community can come together to support research that saves lives.

 

This Year's Event:

For 2025, we're teaming up once again with our Canadian friends, Thread & Maple and the Grocery Girls, for a global, online fundraiser in support of National Breast Cancer Foundation Australia (NBCF) and Breast Cancer Canada.

 

Everyone who makes a donation of $5 or more will be entered into daily and grand prize raffle draws, to win one of dozens of fiber-tastic prizes - made possible with donations from sponsors like you!

How You Can Get Involved:

We’re calling on you, our fibre arts friends to join the fun in one (or both) of these ways: 

🧶 Donate prizes to our fundraiser raffle – think yarns, project bags, patterns, notions, or handmade accessories - anything our passionate community would love (and especially if they are PINK).

💗 Fundraise through your business – create a limited-edition KFTG colourway, product, or bundle and donate a portion of proceeds to the fundraiser.

All supporters will be featured across our platforms, including newsletters, social media, blog posts, and the KFTG campaign page—with your logo, product links and well-deserved shoutouts.

✨ Bonus: Every prize donor or fundraising supporter will be entered into a draw for a featured spotlight and Grocery Girls podcast mention.

  • 15 Aug – Deadline to complete this Sponsor Sign Up Form
  • 15 Sept – Deadline to send in physical prize donations
  • 23 Sept – KFTG Sponsor Information Packs sent out
  • 20 Sept – Sponsors prize draw for Grocery Girls Podcast feature
  • 1 Oct – Pre-Promotion campaign begins
  • 23–30 Oct – Knit for the Girls 2025 Fundraiser live
  • 31 Oct – Grand prize draws + prize distribution
